Going on Holiday with Your Raw-Fed Dog?
Many raw feeders are currently thinking about going on holiday in the UK with their dog. If you’re staying in a holiday let, you might find that there is enough freezer space for you to take your dog’s raw food. But if you’re camping or taking the motorhome
, you’ll be facing the conundrum of what to feed while you’re away.
Raw First
If you have a fridge or cool box with several ice packs , you can always start with a few days of raw food — especially if the weather is a little cooler
.
Depending on how much your dog eats per meal, you can take the first few packs of food frozen as it will take a day to thaw, and will then be good for 2–3 days if kept chilled. That means that you and your dog maintain the same routine at the start of the holiday, when everything else has changed.
Freeze-Dried Raw: The Holiday Hero
The next best thing to raw food is freeze-dried raw — and it's perfect for holidays.
Many of my customers have tried the smaller packs when they’ve been on offer in the shop. Now, I’m pleased to offer larger packs across two sizes in four flavours:
Chicken
Turkey
Beef
Lamb
They offer the standard 80/20 raw feeding balance: premium meat combined with fruits, vegetables and superfoods — but in a convenient, mess-free freeze-dried form. No need for freezers — just open, pour, and serve
.

⭐📝 Customer Review
One of my customers just went away camping for a week with four raw-fed dogs - here's what she had to say about the freeze-dried raw she took instead:
💬 “Taking four raw fed dogs camping in Wales for ten days with very few facilities sounds like a logistical nightmare, let alone throwing in severe food allergies and fussiness...
But the Natures Menu freeze dried raw, and a bit of their Country Hunter wet food (both beef, single animal protein for the win!) was an amazingly successful alternative. All four dogs scoffed it down, and there was no mess to deal with after. And more room in our icebox for human food and wine! Happy dogs, happy campers!”
